The monkey of Oloolua. Troops of these grey-and-black, white-throated monkeys move through the canopy above the trail every day, feeding on fruit, leaves and insects and keeping up a running commentary of chirps and booms. The local form is sometimes called Kolb's monkey after its bright white collar.
Did you know?
The deep "boom" call of the adult male carries hundreds of metres and warns rival troops off the group's patch.
