A large grey raptor with a bare yellow face and long, double-jointed legs, which it uses to reach into tree holes and weaver nests for chicks. It clambers about in the canopy like no other bird of prey.
Did you know?
Its ankle joints bend both ways, letting it probe cavities that no other raptor can reach.
